Guilin Lingchuan Haiyang Peaches
Guilin Lingchuan Haiyang Peaches are the unmissable "first love taste" of spring, produced in Haiyang Township, Lingchuan County—known as the "Peach Township of Southern China." The mountains here are covered with peach trees. In March, when the peach blossoms bloom, pink flowers carpet the valleys, and from June to July, when the fruit ripens, heavy peaches bend the branches. Lingchuan peaches are mainly fuzzy peaches, round in shape, with a pink-tinged white skin covered in fine fuzz. Gently peeling the skin reveals milky white flesh that looks juicy and tender. One bite releases sweet juice with a faint milky aroma, a texture that's both crispy and soft, as if biting into the tenderness of spring. The acidic red soil in Haiyang Township is rich in minerals, and the mild climate gives the peaches not only high sweetness (up to 14 degrees) but also a unique fruity aroma. Under the peach trees in Lingchuan, foreign visitors can experience the fun of "picking and eating fresh," or even participate in the local "Peach Festival," tasting peach-based desserts and jams, and feeling the warmth and sweetness of Guilin's countryside. These peaches are perfect for eating fresh or slicing into salads or yogurt, refreshing and light, an excellent choice for beating the summer heat.
